CIO Ventures

Code of conduct and guiding principles

CIO Ventures is built on trust, respect, and mutual benefit: these are the foundation every member, partner, and participant agrees to uphold the moment they engage with our community.

The principles below are enforced across all our events, platforms, and interactions to ensure this remains a space where honest, vendor-free exchange can thrive.

Our principles

Chatham House Rule

Participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of speakers or participants may be revealed without explicit permission. This applies to summits, the member directory, post-summit summaries, and all partner interactions.

No sales pitches

CIO Ventures is not a sales forum. Partners contribute expert insights, but product pitches, lead harvesting, and unsolicited follow-ups are not permitted, whether at summits, in platform communications, or in any partner interaction.

Respect and professionalism

Treat all community members with respect. Value diverse perspectives, engage constructively, and never misrepresent your role or organisation.

Authentic engagement

Share genuine experiences and honest insights. The value of this community depends entirely on the quality and integrity of what people bring to it.

Privacy-first design

Data visibility is always purpose-bound, consent-driven, and transparent. CIOs control their profile visibility, LinkedIn exposure, and partner access at all times.

Reporting violations

If you witness or experience a violation, please reach out to our team at conduct@cioventures.com. All reports are handled confidentially and investigated promptly.
